Foxwood Springs has been blessed with good musicians.

The choral groups are made up of residents who enjoy entertaining as much as their audiences appreciate their music.
 

The new Lowery Organ adds musical pleasure to life at Foxwood.  CLICK for Enlargement. Bernie Doran, the resident shown in the picture, has received a great deal of enjoyment playing the new Lowery Organ.  There are several other organs and grand pianos that are situated throughout the community building for the use and pleasure of residents when they are not being used for formal programs.  Playing and hearing these instruments certainly adds musical pleasure to life at Foxwood.

There are many recreational and physical fitness activities provided for the residents of Foxwood Springs. The following is a sampling of some which are available:
Water Exercises
Lap Swimming
Shuffleboard
General Exercises
Line Dancing
Ping Pong
Horseshoes
Gardening
Biking
Croquet
Golf
Tennis
Fishing
Walking
Bowling
Billiards


These activities are organized and led by volunteer residents under the coordinator of the Recreation and Physical Fitness Committee. Residents are encouraged to participate in these programs to help ensure an active and healthy life style.

A daily individual exercise program is available to residents in their homes through our own closed circuit television station.  Residents are encouraged to join an activity to feel and stay healthy.

Spiritual Life

Foxwood Springs
makes available to its residents:

  • Weekly Sunday Vespers

  • Bible Study

  • Daily Devotionals on FSTV-20

  • Evening Quiet Time

  • Two Chaplains on duty 24 hours a day

  • There are many churches within the Belton/Raymore
    community.  Transportation can be arranged.

Readers’ Theatre

Readers’ Theatre is a Foxwood Springs activity for those who like to perform before an audience without having to memorize lines.  We present the written word and our voices perform the material.  We offer a variety of readings – serious, humorous, seasonal and religious – at churches and organizations in the vicinity.
