The Rolling News, which runs
around the clock seven days a week, is a series of separate messages of interest to
residents including announcements about upcoming events. Once daily the
rolling news is read by a volunteer.
Each day, Monday
thru Friday, there is a forty-five
minute
morning show called The Foxwood Connection. The show features a wide variety of topics
such as devotions, reading the day’s activities and a special feature. Some shows are taped on
location, but more often residents, staff and special guests are interviewed. Our guests are often local officials, state representatives, public health and
safety experts and local business people as well as Foxwood Staff giving updates
on items of general interest.
The FSTV daily schedule also includes an Exercise
Program and the reading of announcements for the sight impaired. The Foxwood Connection is shown again in the
afternoon as well as the evening, with the evening showing followed by fifteen minutes of quiet time pictures.
